Chime:
The chime function will "beep" the keypad anytime a perimeter zone is opened.
- ON: User code plus "CHIME" (9 key)
- OFF: User code plus "CHIME" (9 key)
Bypass:
Use to bypass individual zones of your security system. the bypass will automatically be removed when the system is disarmed.
- User code plus "BYPASS" (6 key) plus the two digit zone number (01 - 99)
DUREss Code:
Use to turn off security system but still send a signal to the monitoring station to send police help.
- Please check with the installation staff for your personal duress code.
checking for open zones:
Before your system can be armed, all protected doors, windows and the protection zones must be closed or bypassed, otherwise the keypad will display a "NOT READY" message, and if your keypad has a READY indicator light, it will not be lit. The READY key can be used to display all faulted zones, making it easier for you to secure any open zones.
- To display faulted zones press the READY key (* key) DO NOT enter user code first.
- Any open zone numbers will be displayed on the screen.
